The Talented Young Person of the month award has been set up by the Talented Young People organisation to recognise young people who are excelling with their talent.
The awards aren't just about the amount of money they are earning or the notoriety someone has the judging is done on an individual basis and is based on criteria such as improvement, level, impact and dedication. As well as recognizing household names we want to also recognise talented young people who don't get the amount of attention that famous young people do.

Actress Keira Knightley was left "frustrated" at the Venice Film Festival on Friday, when she was asked about her weight during a press conference for her new movie Atonement.
The 22-year-old British star was so certain her thin frame would be asked about at the Italian event, she discussed it with her Atonement costars and crew beforehand.
She says, "It's really frustrating, and particularly when you come to Venice with a film that is an intelligent film.

Keira Knightley did Pirates 'without a script'

Actress Keira Knightley has revealed that she played scenes in the Pirates of the Caribbean series without a script.
In an interview appearing in the October issue of Empire Magazine, the actress said that though she enjoyed playing the role of Elizabeth Swann in the film series, she found it really hard to work without a script.
Knightley, who opened the 64th Venice Film Festival with the premiere of her latest film Atonement, said that she will not repeat the mistake of going script-less in her future projects.
