Keira To Bend It Again

The Sunday Mail reports SCOTS beauty Keira Knightley is set to star in a sequel to hit comedy Bend It Like Beckham. Movie bosses will start filming the follow-up to the hugely-successful Brit flick next year.
Director Gurinder Chadha said the new film will follow the story of two teenage girls set on making it as professional footballers from where the original left off.
She said: "I'm busy with another project at the moment but after that I'm really looking forward to getting started on it."
The role was Knightley's, first stab at stardom alongside co-star Parminder Nagra - who has gone on to find TV fame as Dr Neela Rasgotra in US hospital drama ER. The film shot 20-year-old Keira to fame and she has gone on to star in a series of other box office hits, including The Pirates Of The Carribbean, Pride & Prejudice and her latest film, Domino.

Keira Knightley smiles like an angel and curses like a sailor.
She guiltily confesses to spending a fortune on an Armani jacket, then proudly stretches out an armful of colored bangles she purchased from a street vendor for $5 each.
Knightley is a bundle of insecurities and contradictions, but why wouldn't she be? She's 20 and, despite living in the public eye, says she's in no hurry to grow up.
''It's weird," says Knightley, who stars as Elizabeth Bennet in ''Pride and Prejudice," which opens Friday. ''I have people telling me I'm a role model. Keira Back With Dornan

Yahoo! UK News reports Hollywood actress Keira Knightley's relationship with on/off boyfriend Jamie Dornan appears to be on again, after the pair were photographed holding hands in a London street earlier this week.
Domino star Knightley split with model Dornan in August and was reported to be dating Bodyrockers DJ Kaz James shortly thereafter.
However, the 20-year-old now seems to be enjoying the company of Dornan again, who she started dating in 2003.

Keira Knightley to receive film honour

Keira Knightley is to receive a top honour at the British Independent Film Awards.
The 20-year-old actress will be named UK Personality of the Year at the prize ceremony. The star of Pride and Prejudice was chosen by Hollywood bible Variety.
"There's no brighter star in the world today than actress Keira Knightley, who's gone in a few short years from breakout success in Bend It Like Beckham to blockbuster hits like King Arthur, Pirates of the Caribbean and Love Actually," said Variety's executive editor Stephen Gaydos. ... Director Tony Scott (Man on Fire) teamed up with Keira Knightley ("Pirates of the Caribbean") for the new action-thriller Domino, which New Line will release on Friday, October 14. The movie tells the true story of Domino Harvey (Knightley), daughter of legendary actor Laurence Harvey and a former Ford model who rejected her privileged Beverly Hills life to become a bounty hunter.

British actress Keira Knightley hates watching herself on screen because she thinks she can't act. The Pride And Prejudice beauty is her own worst critic and insists there's nothing more painful than watching her own performances.
She says, "I'm my biggest critic by a mile. You give me the worst review ever and times it by about 10 - that's where I put myself. It's a huge fault."

Knightley Talks Alot About Pirates

According to CommingSoon.net, in 2003, 19-year-old Brit Keira Knightley found her career raised to a new level when she starred in Disney's action film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Since then, she's kept busy, especially this fall, when she's headlining two new movies, director Tony Scott's Domino (opening next week) and a new version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
In the latter, she actually shares a first name with the character she made famous in "Pirates," one that she's spent a lot of time as this year while filming two back-to-back sequels. While in New York to promote Pride and Prejudice, Miss Knightley talked to ComingSoon.net about the sequels, as well as expounding on the popularity of the original film.
"It is my life now. There is nothing else," she joked. "We're doing them both at the same time, and we were halfway through as of yesterday. We were at 100 days yesterday, and we have at least another 100 to go. We've been going since February, but we've had about a month and a half off for hiatus because it's hurricane season."
