Keira Knightley felt plain next to the other stunning celebrities at the Oscars.
The British beauty - who wowed the crowd in a figure-hugging merlot-colored Vera Wang gown at the star-studded ceremony on Sunday (05.03.06) - admitted she felt plain compared to the other actresses.
The star - who also wore a sparkling chandelier-layered necklace containing rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds - is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "I feel really awkward among all these stars." ... Read More ...

 There's a new young fashion star in Hollywood. Keira Knightley wore a striking wine-colored, one-shoulder gown by Vera Wang to the Oscars Sunday night that hit the right balance between youthful funkiness and movie-star glamour.
Knightley wore her strawberry blond hair in a loose ponytail, and she complemented the dress with a one-of-a-kind necklace with emeralds, rubies and diamonds from the Bulgari archives and gold sandals with multiple ankle straps by Jimmy Choo.

Slightly nervy in a black dress before reporters, the British actress revealed that not everything about being nominated has been fun. Filming the sequels to Pirates Of The Caribbean in the Bahamas, Knightley says that her co-stars, including Oscar nominee Johnny Depp are remorseless in their mickey-taking.
After every take, she admits, they joke: "Was that an Oscar-nominated take?"

Two of Tinseltown's brightest young stars, Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson, bare all in the latest Vanity Fair, posing nude for the cover of the glossy magazine's annual Hollywood issue.
The two actresses were talked into the photo shoot by fashion designer Tom Ford, the former Gucci creative director, who also features -- fully clothed -- in the racy cover photo, nuzzling Knightley's neck.

Contact Music reports KEIRA KNIGHTLEY is being relentless teased by her PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN co-stars after being nominated for the Best Actress Oscar.
Knightley amazed her peers on the set of the two swashbuckling sequels, including fellow Brit JACK DAVENPORT, by receiving the nod for her performance in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.
She says, "I'm going to have the p**s ripped out of me throughout the rest of the shoot.
"That should be quite fun."
