Yahoo! UK & Ireland News reports Keira Knightley has said she wishes she could have found fame at a later age so she could have been more outrageous.
The 21-year-old actress told a newspaper that she regrets not being able to enjoy her early 20s without the pressure of the media commenting on her antics.

Keira samples American booze with her beau

Keira Knightley is reportedly going on a month-long drinking binge around the United States - courtesy of her boyfriend Rupert Friend.
The actor - who started romancing the actress after they met while filming Pride And Prejudice last year - set up the booze crawl to celebrate the actress turning 21, which is the legal drinking age in America.
He is said to have splashed out on a luxury yacht and a jet to take Keira to bars around New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Hollywood and Hawaii.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "It's such an original idea. She's been so busy filming Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 and Silk back-to-back, she needs a break and time with Rupert."

Keira Knightley has warned Sienna Miller to steer clear of her ex-love Jamie Dornan - in case he breaks her heart.
The stunning actress - who split from Dornan last year amid claims he was jealous of her career - reportedly called Sienna after hearing she had a crush on the former model.
Keira - who is now romancing 'Pride And Prejudice' co-star Rupert Friend - allegedly told Sienna the Irish hunk wouldn't be able to handle her success.
A source is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Keira went through hell with Jamie, because he couldn't deal with her fame.
"She's dating Rupert Friend now. But she was horrified when she heard Sienna has enjoyed a series of dates with Jamie. She likes Sienna and doesn't want to see her make the same mistakes."
But stunning Sienna - who has also been linked to 'Star Wars' hunk Hayden Christensen since splitting from former fiancé Jude Law - insisted she could make up her own mind.
The 'Layer Cake' beauty - who struck up a friendship with Dornan after they became neighbours in London's Notting Hill - reportedly said: "I'm a big girl and 'll make my own mistakes."

Yahoo! India News reports british beauty Keira Knightley celebrated her 21st birthday by throwing a ‘Roaring Twenties’ themed birthday bash in London recently.
The Academy Award nominee, who chose a glittering golden low-waisted gown off-set by a furry white stole for the occasion, was not glowing, but a bit emotional as well, as she partied the night away with family and friends nightclub Paper in central London.
“Keira was absolutely glowing. She seemed pretty emotional, and a girlfriend gave her a massive hug as she came out of her home,” the Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.

Keira Keira Knightley Juggles Two Films

Variety.com reports Keira Knightley is at the center of a tug of love over how she spends her two free months between finishing Silk in May and returning to Pirates of the Caribbean 3 in August, reports Variety.
In the red corner there's her champion Joe Wright, who directed her to an Oscar nomination for Pride & Prejudice. She's agreed to star in his next movie, Atonement, based on Ian McEwan's novel, which Working Title is planning to shoot this summer.
But in the blue corner there's her mother, playwright Sharman Macdonald, whose screenplay The Best Time of Our Lives also is aiming for a June start. Knightley has been attached since the project's inception four years ago.
Neither movie is yet greenlit, and both sets of producers are pushing to get all their elements in place. Mike Radford is set to direct The Best Time of Our Lives, but he's starting another movie, Flawless, on March 27, so it will take a feat of scheduling for him to do both.
"Best Time of Our Lives" is based on the true story of the complex relationship between Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, his wife, Caitlin, his childhood friend Vera Phillips and her eventual husband, William Killick. Knightley is down to play Vera.

Knightley Caught In Jet Storm Nightmare

According to Contact Music, British actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY was caught in a terrifying thunderstorm while flying back to London after the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles last week (ends10MAR06). The jet, which also had KYLIE MINOGUE's partner OLIVIER MARTINEZ on board, diverted to nearby Luton after missing its landing slot at London Heathrow as a result of the severe weather conditions. Knightley then had to be driven to London, as staff at Luton airport didn't have the towbar needed to get the plane back on its way to Heathrow. A British Airways spokesman says, "A special Jumbo towbar had to be sent from Heathrow by road. "As time was dragging we ferried passengers there by coach."

DigitalSpy.co.uk reports Keira Knightley's relationship with Rupert Friend could be in trouble.
The actress was given an earful from her latest beau after she ignored him for two hours during a night out in London.
A source told the Sunday Mirror, "Keira and Rupert had a massive row. Rupert looked very upset. He ended up feeling more of a hanger-on than her boyfriend. That is why he lost his cool and had a go at Keira.
"It was obvious her fame is causing some tension in their relationship."
